Get ready to feel stronger than ever before.
ENMEI is a 50-minute, full-body strength experience built around controlled resistance training and continuous tension.
Using our custom resistance-based machines, each movement is performed slowly and intentionally to activate deep stabilising muscles, improve control and build lasting strength. You should expect intensity — not through impact or speed, but through precision, tempo and sustained muscular engagement. By the end of class, your muscles may tremble or fatigue. This is a natural response to time under tension and a sign your body is working deeply and effectively.
Arrive 10–15 minutes early
Please aim to arrive slightly ahead of your scheduled class time. Studio doors lock promptly at the start of session to preserve the flow of the experience. Use this time to settle in and familiarise yourself with the space. Once the studio door is closed and class has started we are no longer able to let you join due to safety. If you arrive late and are denied access, the class will not be refunded. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we may offer you a courtesy class credit to use at a later date. This is offered once per client, per month, and is subject to availability.
Grip socks are required
Our machines are designed to be used in grip socks rather than trainers. If needed, grip socks are available to purchase at reception. We also recommend bringing a water bottle, a small sweat towel and comfortable movement clothing.
Getting settled
On arrival, you can place your belongings in one of the studio cubbies or neatly beneath your machine.
Meet your coach
If this is your first ENMEI class, introduce yourself to your coach before the session begins. They will guide you through the machine setup, resistance adjustments and movement principles, while ensuring any injuries or limitations are accommodated.
When class starts
Classes are performed in a focused, immersive environment with controlled lighting and music. Throughout the session, you will move through slow, resistance-based sequences designed to challenge the core, lower body, upper body and postural muscles. The emphasis is always on control, alignment and intentional movement.
Expect the shakes
Muscular shaking or trembling is completely normal. The slow tempo and continuous resistance create deep muscular fatigue, particularly in stabilising muscle groups. This is part of the method — not a sign that you are doing something incorrectly.
Move at your own pace
Resting when needed is encouraged. ENMEI is designed around consistency and quality of movement, not pushing beyond your limits. Listen to your body and allow strength to build progressively over time.
Prioritise precision over intensity
Your first sessions should focus on understanding positioning, tempo and control. There is no pressure to use heavier resistance or push to maximum intensity immediately. Strong foundations create long-term progress.
Observe and reset when needed
If at any point you feel unsure, pause briefly and watch your coach’s demonstration or the rhythm of the room. The method becomes more intuitive with each class.
Focus on alignment
One of the most common coaching cues at ENMEI is maintaining a tucked pelvis and engaged core. This helps support spinal alignment, protect the lower back and ensure the work stays intentional and controlled throughout each movement.
ENMEI is designed to help you move better, feel stronger and build resilience that carries beyond the studio.
